In January 2012, the Berufsbildende Schule der Heinrich-Haus gGmbH in Neuwied (a vocational college for young people with disabilities), the German NGO bezev / Behinderung und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit e.V. (disability and development cooperation) in Essen and us representing Monika Girls High School Bagrote, have started a project cooperation aiming to promote the further development of the Monika Girls High School. The project partners will work together especially to improve the situation of young people with disabilities in Bagrote Valley focussing on literacy and schooling measures.

The Heinrich-Haus gGmbH college in Neuwied is a vocational college for young people with disabilities. More than 600 students are taught in approx. 70 modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology and accessible to the handicapped. Social commitment and global learning are an integral part of the work of the school. Special emphasis is placed on social competence and the integration in the working world. The school works towards this in close cooperation with other schools, companies and organisations.
bezev (disability and development cooperation) is a German organisation which campaigns for equal participation of disabled people in development processes which help to create a fair and social world as well as sustainable development. bezev sees the participation of people with disabilities as a human right and promotes and supports the chances of disabled people in such development processes. The official charity was founded in 1995, is not connected to any religion or political party but works closely with charities from the church and political development organisations
